I was installing my polaris skid plate and after drilling out the factory rivets pulled off the side panel to retrieve the old rivets in the nose pan and found a rectangular rubber piece just under the y-pipe. Upon further inspection found another one in the bulkhead just in front of the airbox. I was wondering if anyone had and ideas of where they might have come from? It looks like they had some sort of adhesive on them and are about 1/8" thick. Any info is appreciated.

They look like the pads used to cushion the stock plastic airbox between the bulkhead.

that was my guess, does anyone have a parts microfiche or breakdown to look at?

I found one of the exact same thing laying in my belly pan on the exhaust side this morning.

I found the same thing. Its the pad between tank and left steering support tube. Have to slide tank back and glue.pad back on
