MotorFist Stomper 2.0 Size?

Curious about the Stomper 2.0 boot from Motorfist and sizing. I currently wear an 11 in Klim's orginal Adrenaline boot. My main purpose for these boots would be snow removal. I don't get to sled that much any more. Mainly snow-blowing sidewalks and countless hours in a plow truck. Would these boots be a good choice? Do they fit true to size? I wear 10 in my running shoes, etc. THANKS in advance!

MotorFist Snowmobile Boots

Here is what the MotorFist sizing chart says: Boots: Size 7 - 14 base on standard US men's shoe sizing.

There stuff is usually pretty accurate, but you need to take your sock into account. You say that you wear a size 10 shoe, I would order an 11 because they come with an extra insole, size 10. So if the boots are to big you add this insole to the boot and now the 11 becomes a 10 1/2. With a decent sock I would think this should be very close.

My Red Wing work boots are size 11 and I went with the size 12 Motor Fist Stomper boots and they fit perfect, and I absolutely love them for snowmobiling, but I wouldn't use them for what your doing. I would check out Sorel, Red Wing, or something similar. $.02

Mark, I have 2 questions for you. First, do you know if the sizing on the 2.0 are the same as the originals? Meaning, a 12 in the original stomper is the same dimensions as a 12 in the 2.0. I know it sounds kinda dumb, but the sizing of all the higher end brands is all over the place. I wear a 11 shoe, and have to wear a 13 in Klim adrenaline. I ordered the original stompers from you guys in spring when they were discounted a lot and the 11 were to small.
Secondly, do you have the 2.0 in stock already? Or are they coming mid month? Either way, I already placed an order for size 12 with you guys using this weekends sale. Thanks

Boot Size

Here is what I heard form MotorFist directly:

 "They are about one size bigger this year. The 11 this year fits like a 12 for example. " So an 11 this year would have been a 12 last year.

Side note, emailed the owner of MotorFist and he responds on a Sunday, nice he wants to answer everyone questions.

In our opinion, the ten pairs that we got early and sold during the show season, the people that purchased were actually pretty true to size. Unlike last year when they ran small. This is real life experience this year with the actual boot.

When compared to last year models, yes , the new 2.0 Stompers are bigger.

We increased the side (width) of the toe box some. It feels wider and maybe a little longer to.

There is an insert that is included with the boot. If you slip that in there it will actually make the boot fit a size smaller.

NOTE: You slip the insert under neath the foot plate that comes in the boot, so that it shims the normal liner up making the boot smaller. Some people just put the shim in on top of the normal liner and say "man this feels funny". The shim is meant to raise the normal liner up, not stack on top of it.

Just got my Stomper 2.0's in last night. Bigger boot than the originals, but I'm really digging them. The toe kick area looks tough and they seem much warmer with better ankle support. I bought a 12 and they sent me an 11. Glad they did cause it's definitely 1 size bigger.

Glad someone here got their Stomper 2.0 boots. Ordered mine 11/29/13 and just go an email saying they won't be shipped until early January.

Edit: My anger was misdirected and First Place Parts was let down by Motorfist. who shorted them. FPP, thanks for the email and IM's explaining the situation. TOP NOTCH IN COMMUNICATION!

We shipped the boots out late so you are getting them late. There are literally boots in trucks being delivered to folks like First Place Parts right now.
