2015 xm 174 using 1200ml of oil to 30 litres of fuel. sled has 450km. thats 25:1 ratio. seems rich to me?

Break in uses a lot more oil, once it is through 60 percent it is done with just a count down the last 40 percent, your break-in is done by now so the consumption should improve now. Remember though if you are in deep snow with the throttle open to get around, it uses way more gas and subsequently more oil. cheers dave
I have seen in the 27:1 and 28:1 ratio too and that's on my 2015 and 2016 T3s....and that hard out full pin riding...I think its to much too...but I'm over it as they don't blow up:face-icon-small-win
i have never figured out the ratio, nor am i too familiar with the metric system.......but i can say this. i have ran 2 etec 800's through their break-in period, and i would roughly get 2 tanks of gas to 1 tank of oil during break-in. after break-in, usage is almost cut in half
If that's on a heavy throttle day, that sounds about right. Oil is good...longer life and more power.
