Here in Canada the car manufacturers, mainly Ford sometimes have a program called Recycle your ride where they give you up to 3000 bucks towards a trade-in on whatever junk you can drive in the lot. Getting harder to sell used sleds these days and we are giving them away anyway. Would be nice to see a program like this offered by sled manufacturers. Strip all goodies off sled, get a guaranteed value on trade-in and they just sold another new sled and the old one goes to sled heaven (or he11). Seems to be that whenever they change a body style now the old one is instantly half or less of what it is worth the year before. I guess this is only an option if sled sales are down. Lots of dealers won't even take trades if they are more than 4 yrs old. Sure might entice a lot of used sled owners to become new sled owners.
