ZX D&R SLP kit

Anyone seen this done or have done it? i want to fit a challenger 2.25" on my 00 Summit 700 highmark.

Do i have to do aluminum welding and what not? what are the steps? Will it affect reliability? do i need to run a new belt.

Did this same one to my 01 ZX. Not hard to do at all. All I needed was a drill and grinder and a rivet gun. It will get you an extra 1/4 to 3/8 inch of clearance so you can run a 2.5 inch track with no worries.

I'm running a 2.25 on my 01' summit with 7 tooth, 3" pitch drivers. Close, but no rubbing if you can go to a 3" pitch track.

Did that and a skid relocation on a 00 700 Summit. Was a bunch of work, but did what it did. If you took it to a shop , would cost you quite a bit more dough but give you some real clearance. I couldn't see going that route unless you were replacing the tunnel with aftermarket.

With the 7t drivers, you'll have to change your gearing to compensate .
