how to change a track on m6?

Anyone have the time to give the steps for changing the track in my 2005 m6? Never changed a track on a sled with a diamond drive

This has been covered over and over. Try a google search, but here it is.

Remove clutch

Take long bolt out of the driveshaft from the brakeside

Take the diamond drive out

Tip sled on the side

Take the skid out

Take the nuts off the brake caliper inside the tunnel

Let the driveshaft hang out of the tunnel and maneuver the track around the drivers.

Thanks a lot. On my f7 when I changed the track I was told there's a side not to lay it over on because you'll get a air bubble, is this true?

I believe that was only on the 2003 firecats. Doesn't matter on these sleds.

That only happens if you take too big a gulp of brew as you are bending over to tip it back up!
