DeLorme Earthmate GPS PN-20 or PN-40

Has anyone used these GPS units?

I've been in the market for a GPS and I know that Garmin produces nice units, but it just cheeses me off that I buy their unit then I have to buy the different maps! This DeLorme has a site which you can download all the maps you want for $29 a year (a lot less than 1 Garmin map!). The feature I like best is they have satellite maps you can download. It's like having google earth on your GPS! I'm just concerned about coverage and accuracy.

I used the PN-40SE last year and loved it. It comes with the topo USA and software works well with the gps unit. Batteries lasted all day in the power saving mode. Easy to use and easy to read the screen. I would buy one again.
