Is this comparison against the N/A nytro motor and the 1100 cat WITH turbo etc?

Both engines side by side with NO boost systems on them.
Just the long block, as it were.

"IF" cat is moving over to the Nytro engine, or what ever the NEXT 3 cylinder engine that yamaha releases in 2014, then it would be a significant weight savings for Cat.

If you were going to resurrect a blast from the past for MOUNTAIN RIDERS, and introduce a brand new triple engine, what name would you use....???

I don't know about you, but I would sure consider..

This isn't new for Cat.
Does anyone remember the late 70's early 89's Suzuki snowmobiles?
They were Arctic Cats with Orange trim instead of green trim, otherwise IDENTICAL.
In turn cat got Suzuki engines.

Yep, I rode a '76 Suzuki Fury for a number of years. Use to laugh at the snaps on the seat - they had the Cat head on them. I think it was 77 or 78, Cat switched from the Kawie engine to the Suzuki Spirit engine.
