2008 renegade 800r bog, only reaches 7000rpm

My sled has a bog on top end
Compression is 125 both sides
carbs recently cleaned , it didnt change much gave me abit more bottom end power jets were a lil dirty
im thinking maybe raves or secondary clutch. What is stock secondary clutch spring color ? Would rave valves cause it not to reach right rpm's
it has good bottom end power but no top end power and only reaches about 7000 rpm's it got from ruining good to bad within a week ...

It could be your throttle positioning sensor. I've seen it read less than 100% at WOT. Any Ski-Doo dealer should be able to diagnose it for you.

If it would be the throttle positioning sensor wouldn't it show a code or misfire ?

Can anyone get back to me on secondary spring color?
Also has anyone evergreen rave valves stick all a sudden out of the blue ?

I've seen the TPS not reporting properly and no error codes were being flashed. If I remember correctly the TPS thought it was somewhere between 70-80% @ WOT, thus his machine wasn't opening the raves and getting the higher rpms desired.

Thxs for the replies guys I will be checking the valves manual to make sure they move if I see that its the computer or buds system ill bring to my dealer got a buddy that works there. If the raves work correctly ill bring it in to check the dpm

Buddies 08 summit did that last year it was bad rollers in the secondary. As for the secondary spring not sure if the renegades are the same as a summit but they are purple/purple.

It turned out that it was the raves the tabs on the sides broke and were jamming the raves part should been in today
