97 to 04 engine swap

I have a 97 700 that I want to swap the engine into a 04 rolling chassis. does anyone have any tricks or advise on this procedure? the 97 runs fantastic so I plan to swap it out and make the change this winter. also with this I will part out the 97.

The motor should bolt up the same since they are both big block Liberty 700's. The exhaust would be different though, so you might need a Y-pipe and pipe for an Edge big block to make it work.

Perfect! The only thing I need is a new air box for it.

If anyone has a need for parts of the 97 let me know.

I put a 98 into my an 03 fit perfect used my y pipe on the 98 and the pipe from the 03. and you need to transfer your CDI from your 98. the chassis wiring is the same.
