Can someone tell me how many teeth are on the alpha driver.
Also if you can give me a measurement of the diameter where the track sits.

Also measurement on the diameter of a 8t driver. Cant remember the exact measurement where the track rides.

I want to punch out the new track and run on a Standard skid. wondering if I should just get an alpha driver or 2 avids or see if a 8t will pull it.

That's weird Wyo. I just layed awake last night for 3 hours thinking about an Alpha track change to a saw tooth camo challenger extreme. Here's my scattered thoughts....
The Good-more windows in track=less weight. Better track for my area. More windows=more snow on hyfax.
The bad-no nubs on the inside of track for the driver to push against.

I would just run the alpha driver if it were me. Looks like the stock Alpha driver is $35. Avid is $130.

I'm not sure I'd trust the parts fiche though, since it shows standard drivers for a track with windows on the outsides. Part number (3602-153) looks like it's probably good, but I wouldn't trust the diagram.

I did find a picture though:

I believe you can press off the 3.5 pitch alpha drivers and put them back on the driveshaft in the traditional place for a 2-rail setup.

Its posted as 7.125. But is that where the track rides or the top of the drivers.

Runing the alpha drivers means I would need to clip the center and outers for rails, Id rather just clip the outer every other.

So if anyone can get an exact measurement Id really appreciate it

That is where the track rides, was at the show yesterday and did a few measurements where arms attach to skid compared to std. Mtn. cat.
