It's great for the value, Same thing as all the other gopro's, Just cheaper and only goes up to 960P resolution. I think costco's got it for like 179.
Only thing to complain I have about the go pro is the muffling of sound via the waterproof case.

thanks for the info airpoppoff, i was also wondering if anyones go pros freeze up like normal digital cameras do on cold days?

its a great cam.. and it does 846rez at 60fps too..
long as u use it to film more than just POV its great.. otherwise its crap... the world doesn't need anymore 10 minute videos of 1 dude riding his sled and all u see is the bumper.

I love mine, Got it at Costco, works great and the video I have taken with it at 720p resolution was good.

The 960 is exactly the same as the normal HD version except it doesnt shoot 1080P or 60fps in 720, it will shoot 60fps in WVGA mode. It also does not have the expansion socket in the rear for GoPro's new additional add on's such as the LCD screen and piggy back battery. The 960 is a great deal for a POV camera !
The buzzing sound you may hear is the camera vibrating in the mount. In the kit you would have got a little rubber deal that looks like a nose plug for swimming ( lol ) it fits into the shoe and takes and vibrating sounds out.
