I think its time to trade my old 98 Z71 in on a new truck but not sure about GM again. Some nice deals out there but this truck went through 3 trany's before 8000 miles, intake gaskets etc etc. Then bought a new cadilac CTS last year and am on the 5th rear diff.....
So, thinking I should trade both in on a new truck ...what do ya all think?

Personally, with all the bailout and bankruptcy BS with GM and Dodge, I would buy a Ford just because they are trying to make it on their own. Kudo's to them and they make a good truck (now :))

yeah no kidding...I'm actually pretty stumped why people are spending 30 grand on a car or gas pickup when you can spend 34-35k for an 09 Dodge Diesel 1 ton with the 6.7 cummins that has so much more potential. (after you drop off the emissions crap of course) My pickup MSRP was 47k and got it OTD for 34k.

My own opion I would stick with Chevy! I have a 97 chevy 1500 4x4, and it has around 135,000 and i have ut around 12,000 of the miles on it trouble free, but then again i baby the thing and the only thing that i pull with it is a 2 place sled trailer. just my own 2 cents!
