I’m replacing my original 391 belt @ 700 miles and held up ok just a bit narrow no pulled chords
I installed my new spare 391

Now I need a spare belt..
What belts are we liking?
165 sled
I have black Secondary spring
ZRP weights
21/53 gear
Pretty happy overall with clutching
Some belt dust..
So we have options..
391
531
571
49c4266
49c4313 carbon
Opinions?
Thanks!

The only difference between the 391 - 531- 571 is the amount of rubber so the belt grabs more 531 should be fine but if you want a bit more longevity for 571, but it is a bit more money, same compound. Outside diameter is longer due to more rubber but inside is the same on all three belts. if you go from 391 to 531 you will need to adjust the belt as it will sit higher, same with 571

My buddy rode 600 miles on the belts he got with his 18 without issues. To be proactive he had the updates done and blew both of those belts within an hour after about 3 hours of riding.. any thoughts on an explanation for this. Just got the sled back from the dealer and they said there's nothing wrong with the sled.

I prefer the 391 if you can get one( they don’t make it any more) and it’s a decent buy, I’ve bought two off eBay for $135 shipped. Haven’t tried the 571 yet.

If your asking me, I have no idea, if no issues then there is no reason to do updates, it is actually not being proactive unlike many people think. Could be snow intrusion, or if something was not set up right. could be many things, but the dealer should figure it out...

Dealer looked at it and said nothing wrong. Warranties both belts. Maybe just a fluke. We'll see.
