how to recognize difference..

Folks, hope someone can help me with this. I have a head that i don;t know if its for a pre 2010 m8 or after ??..is there a way to tell since its absent of part numbers ?..Thanx...also looking for one HO cylinder in fine shape..

i assume even though the heads are similar bolt ons they are not interchangeable for varies reasons..?

well then could i cut a pre 2010 head to have a tighter squish similar to the 2010 and up h/o...any specs out there on how many thou cut ..??

Just buy a 10 and up head is going to cost you the same to buy one off of eBay as it is to have one cut from SLP

is it a dome cut as well or just a head surface cut...i have access to a machinist that can cut the head surface on a mill for free..if i knew the amount of cut...
