Wondering if anyone else is in the same situation I am. I bought my 2011 RMK on 11/2/10 and I'm trading in my 2011 on a 2012. Problem is: my 2012 800 RMK has not arrived. The fine print reads "you have 12 months." 11/2 is tomorrow. Help/suggestions would be much appreciated. My dealer is looking into this for me also. Just curious if anyone else has done the research for me. :face-icon-small-hap

Its not your fault that Polaris is late getting them off the line. You made your commitment to them, I have a hunch that you will be in good shape

Were you totally dissatisfied with your 2011 pro,if so im just curious why? What happened? The $1000 trade in allowance was only for dissatisfied customers that had ligit problems or complaints. And if somebody disliked one that much why would you want another one.

There was another guy on here that posted and he said Polaris denied his $1,000 rebate claim because of the same problem with the dates. I have heard of a number of guys in the same situation as you are. Their snow checks aren't here and the date from the 2011 Pro purchase is over a year old now. I'd get something in writing if possible. You'd hate to be waiting around for a $1,000 rebate that never arrived. It's easy for people to tell you that you'll be taken care of and then shrug it off when your not. It's not their $1,000 after all.

it says on the agreement that if you are unhappy for any reason yuo can trade and get the rebate. you could be unhappy with the old decals and just want new ones :face-icon-small-win

My dealer's rep told him "we will take care of these situations. It's not his fault the sled hasn't arrived." I had him print the email and will send in with rebate form.

I'll keep you posted.

I also snow checked a 12 Pro and traded my 11 in, I wasn't happy with the sled because it made me a better rider and left my buddies stuck half way up while I was having fun and they were digging out :D

right M8Chris LMAO

I can find a reason to complain about my 11 if it means $1000

I traded in My Switchback Assault for a Pro 155". I had a lot of issues with the SW, the suspension gernaded on it within 82 miles, took out the track, both shocks, wheels. The primary seized up on it at 300 miles, throttle stuck, and the sled crashed into a wood pile in reverse. If for some reason I get the cold shoulder on my $1,000.00 rebate, I will start barking up some trees until it gets straightened out.

I was under the impression that you had to snowcheck a 2011 and trade your 2011 on a 2012 snowcheck. I am probably wrong, but that is what i thought the program was.

As long you purchased the sled by Feb. 28th 2011 and is the original owner and snowchecked a 12 then all is good.
