new sled odometer not working

So I took my new 2014 for its first ride and the odometer is not working. I notice shortly into the ride that is was not registering. I turned on my GPS and the total ride was around 20miles. Odometer read 1.5 miles. Anyone know what could be wrong? I was told the ECU retards the engine for the first 100 miles, so I need to get it fixed.

Sure it wasn't an hour and a half? I thought my 14 was doing the same then I realized it was on the hour meter. I R stupid...
