I saw last year someone posted one of these. its just a lever that goes to the DD and it gets rid of the push button reverse. The plate that the motor sits on broke and i feel this would be a more permanent fix for the problem

I have this lever and it works great. The nice thing about it is you know that the DD is all the way in reverse or forward and not hanging up or froze.

I don't see how that would not get bent or broke off?

Had mine on for over 3 seasons and not one issue yet. I think its because it is so close to the tunnel and higher than the foot hole area.
