07 M1000 Stator Removal

I'm trying to trade in my 07 M1000 on a newer sled but it would seem the stator has gone gunny on me. No spark whatsoever. It's not the kill switch, tps, or keyswitch. I still have some testing to do to make sure it is the stator. However, I'm wondering, if this thing is toast can I replace the stator with the motor in the frame?

no too hard on the M-chassis, will need to make a puller or that is what I recommend. Use recoil as templet,

You should be able to purchase or rent a steering wheel (3 post) puller at most any auto parts store. You can use this to pull the flywheel and then you will just need some basic hand tools to remove and replace.
