my sled is totally stock not even a pipe though i am thinking of getting a single. Right now it runs at about 7300-7400 so i guess i should throw some lighter weights in thanks

I would try to get a couple hundred more RPM's out of it if you can. Also, keep in mind that Cat tachs are notorious for being about 200rpm high so you may be turning even less. You should look into having your tach calibrated or just borrow an Avenger II/III or similar unit that can meausre your RPM's off of your lighting coil pulses and compare. Then you will alwys know what your real RPM's are based on what your tach is reading.....

Here is a dyno chart from SLP that shows stock vs several other configurations....

If you are bone stock, you are right on. 7300-7400 rpm. That motor doesnt have to spin a million miles an hour to make power.

My 03.5 turned 7300 stock all day long, With a can I was told it would turn 7400, And it did exactly that! SLP has two different graphs that show stock BHP, One is the one above and the others are on the single and twin pipe. These graphs show peak @ 7300 max. and by 7500 your down about 10 BHP. I have a funny feeling that the graphs above make the single pipe look better in the low and mid range by moving the stock BHP graph out by 200 RPM. Now the question is which BHP graph correct? On mine I also installed HI torque rollers, Made the track more efficient to turn and lightened up 40+ lbs. Last season it turned 7500-7600, So i will either install heavier weights, But will try the new spring in secondary first.
