ya bud, I started a thread last year about this. I have broken 3, my dealer warrantied all of them. I got sick of breaking them so I welded a solid filler piece on both sides to beef it up a bit, I've got over 1000kms now with no issues. it's weird tho, I have buddies that are jumping WAY WAY bigger then me and they haven't broken any. I can't explain it??? it's not lack of grease or lube on the ball joint, or shafts.

what about the 2014 pivot arm is beefier? When I looked at the piece on a 2014 sled, it looked the same as what I have on my 2013.

ya the 13 and 14 brackets are the same according to my dealer.

I've looked at my 13 & 14 & can't find any difference.

Since they seem to be failing at the shaft, I'm planning to weld up a small gusset to go around the shaft from front web to rear web... nothing big, but shouldn't take much.

fixed

here is how I beefed mine up. worked like a hot dam.
I also attached a couple pics of a running board that broke on my buddies xm. I don't think this will be an issue cause this is the only one I've herd of. probably just a bad weld.

Is pretty much what I was thinking... but just doing the first 2" or so down by the shaft.... looks like it's pretty solid man, nice!

Pretty easy to do to, little sheet metal & call it good.
