Swapping battery from 06 Rmk to a 05 Rmk With out battery?

Hi i got a 05 rmk 900 without a battery and a wrecked 06 rmk 900 with stock battery. I need to fit gps to my 05. How hard is it to swap the stock battery from the 06 to the 05?

assuming your talking about the electric start battery??

if so, they are completely different batteries and wont interchange cause the battery box is different.

I got the 06 batterybox fitted into the 05 with a little work and the wiring was just a plug and play. yes The 06 had a electric starter . The gps works just fine now in the 05 with the 06 battery

So for the wiring all you had to do is plug in a few connectors and now your sled will also keep the battery charged??? Hmmm this may be very helpful to others who want to run accessories on their sleds.
