A 162 only comes in the 3" p. A 156 x 2.5 would be the ticket if you are looking to lengthen a shorter model, more maneuverable and it will climb!

Yes that is the intention, Currently has a 159 w/ rail extensions, I read that the 3.0 pitch is better? I wanted to reuse all I had except a different track.
That was why I was thinking 159?
What track is 156 3.0p

The 156 is a camoplast extreme 2.5 paddle. I went from 159 to the 156 3.0 pitch and the sled is so much better is not even fair.

If you are running a 159 right now I bet you have 2.52 drivers. You and going to have to change drivers to change to a 3.0 pitch track.

and 162 is available in the PC which would be a direct replacement for the 159 besides the drivers! Also I think the 159 slide rails are a better more efficient design, maybe a little heavier but they don't crack like the KK ones! Just move the outer stiffener plates to the inside by swapping sides and shortening cross brace by .50"
