I am running same gear ration on my Kingcat as you but running a straight 53 helix, stock weight 68/69 and stock titaniun spring, running 7700 RPM with SLP single pipe, mod airbox and Boyseen Reeds, pulls like a freight train, elevation 3000 to 7000 foot MADDOGWFO SLP recomends 7700 RPM with there single pipe and with the 53 helix it does not fall off unless heavy wet snow condtion

Seems High On RPM

That seems like alot of RPM for these big twins, my suggestion would be add some weight to it and a differant helix (53) and I bet you would be surprised on how hard it would pull, also contact PSI and ask then what king of RPM there pipe run's best, just my thoughts, good luck still snowing here in WA, yahoo MADDOGWFO

The PSI single on the 900 likes to turn about 7600-7700. Spinning it 8100 probably costs you 10 or more horsepower. Give it more helix, like a 53. Are you using a fixed pin clutch or the older 9 tower with bushed weights? If it is a bushed weight clutch about 66-67 gram weights, fixed pin will want 69-70.
