Ive always ran ProClimb bumpers on previous cats 12,15, 16...loved them, light, didnt hold snow, easy to grab onto, and super durable. Who has installed the Med Green 2018 ProClimb bumper (7639-798) on their 18 Mountain Cat, if so where did you buy it, need to find a dealer that has one and it seems cat is discontinuing it in Med Green. I don't really care for the look of the MountainPro bumper so much, it looks like it will hold more snow (not as clean and stream lined), suck to grab onto with gloves, and not be a strong as the ProClimb. Can anyone that has the Mountain Pro bumper now and has used the ProClimb on previous sleds comment, as to which they prefer!

I put a PRO MTN on my 18. I smoked a boulder and it did its job. It did not harm the chassis and protected the plastics. I also did run over quite a few trees and there were no issues with it. Some people say they are junk, but after the incident with boulder I don't see it. It does hold snow, but even with that, I will be buying another.

The medium green is the one that took the boulder on my 18, the white one is the pro climb version on a 16. You can see how far the 18 was bent in. It is still solid.

Had the Pro bumper on my 16 and was very happy with it . Put the same on my 18 Mnt Cat. It offers the most protection I feel.

Ordered mine from Country Cat today, got the very last one they had in stock, 179.99 shipped. Word is that Cat is discontinuing the ProClimb bumper in Med Green. If I wreck this one Ill be stuck buying the fugly Pro Mtn Bumper:face-icon-small-fro or a black Pro Climb.

You know I didn't even think about putting the proclimb mtn bumper on. Its the same stocker so no doubt it would fit. Really liked that one on my 14 because it came up pretty high and protected the leading edge of the hood. It did hold a lot of snow in the front though.... Pro mtn should weigh less, at least it has that going for it.
