After being super pissed/critical of the 2017 850, I have to say, the 2018 sleds I have are amazing.
I had a 2017 154 Summit and a 2017 165 Summit. Liked the chassis over the XM, but would have preferred the 800 engine, couldn't make a belt last 200 miles before it was worn beyond deflection.
This year 2018 Freeride 154 and 2018 Summit 175. Holy sheeit, love them. Nothing like my last years sleds. Maybe I had turds last year, but the 2018 are completely different.
I am not sure that my 2017 850 sleds would even do 60mph. Axys sleds were killing me in drags. My top speed on my 175 this year so far is 75mph, and I let off, still pulling hard, a little freaked about a 175 3" track spinning that fast under my nuggets. 79mph on the Freeride so far not even sure where I did that. 154 3".
I haven't even looked at my belts yet, I am sure they need adjustment, but I think they are good, 55 miles on 175 and 120 on 154.
Doo f-ed us last year boys, maybe they are redeeming themselves this year?
