Had a mishap and totalled off my 16 M8. I had a brand new in box Boondocker ST turbo ready to bolt on but I wont be needing that :face-icon-small-con

Im thinking I may be better off to upgrade to an 18 instead of looking for 16/17 the that the turbo would fit.

If you have an 18 are you happy with it so far?
Is it worth upgrading now that Im at ground zero?

Thnx for any input!

Really depends on riding style and personal preference.
For me, its 100% 2018, even if it cost $4k more than a new 2017...

After having my 18 with the exact same mods as my girlfriends 16, I really don't enjoy when I have to ride hers now. She feels the same way.

I have a 2014 that had all of the 2016 upgrades applied as well as Elka Stage 5 shocks, Powder Pro skis, running boards, clutching and C3 belt drive. Also have a 2018 MC that has upgraded running boards and no other mods. I was out today with a buddy who was riding the 2014, I was on the 2018, we swapped around a few times. 2018 and 2014 definitely felt like they were related, but If the 2014 was a 6, the 2018 was a 9, still could be improved, but absolutely noticeable how much better is was. My buddy said it just felt lighter and more responsive. Just easier to hold a sidehill, Motor is way more responsive low down and the clutch’s are good enough stock that you could just leave them alone and not have to mess with anything.
