So i'm really getting tired of the 600 C-tech glitch/bog/fall on its face when you don't want it to. the new 800 C-tech comes with a fuel rail dampener that my 2016 M6000 doesn't have. looking at the 2018 600 parts catalog the picture shows the 600 as having a dampener but the part # is the same as my 2016.

so whose in the know? does the 2018 600 have a fuel rail dampener or will the 800 c tech rail work on the 6?

I would like to know this too! I have a 2017 600 that is great other than the ocasional "glitch." I think it could be fuel or electronic. It is like the engine response is a second behind the actual throttle input especially if it is loaded up from a pull. It surprises you when it does it. Like I have said before, you can handle a surprise like that on a 600, but on an 800 it would be sketchy.

I found the part numbers to be different 007 for the 16 and 024 for the 18,looks like it bolts right on for a couple hundred bucks. The 800 uses the same part number as the 600. I have found on line conflicting part numbers also as some websites aren't updating often enough.

Interested in this myself. Ebay has the dampener rail for around $130. FYI.

We also have a 16 6000 with the bog waiting for dealer to fix or replace sled.I don't think they all have this issue as the demo we tested ran great put on 250 kms on it.

I heard it could be loose power valve cables. Worth giving it a check.

I've checked the power valves and belt deflection... dealer has checked everything after I checked it and said there isn't an issue. I've asked about a reflash and they say there isn't one available for the 16. I'm sure it's the fuel dampener as cat specifically mentions it on 800 c-tech videos as providing a glitch free ride.they obviously know there's an issue and won't address it, if the 18 600's have the dampener cat should have an update

Checked today the 18 600 C-tech definitely has a fuel rail dampener. I'm pissed cat hasn't assessed this with the older C-techs.... ordering one up and I'm sure it'll fix the issue

Let me know if it does fix it, my wife’s 16’ 6000 has the glitch and like you say it is just annoying, seems bad in on off on throttle situations. Would be a cool fix for a couple hundred bucks

I just picked up a new one off ebay for $100. I haven't looked into it yet but is this an easy swap and go? Anything I should be on the look out for when swapping it out?

Thanks

Swapped mine today, it a pain. Only takes about 45 mins but it's sure tight. Make sure you have a magnet. It's just 4 10mm nuts and some zipties. Order the fuel line off the 18 as well they changed the fitting.
I can almost guarantee this fixes the issues because in the new 800 c tech videos they specifically mention the dampener ensures there is a glitch free ride.

Is the fuel line part number 1770-148?

Thanks

I see that cat did away with the fuel filter in 18 as well. Should we keep the filter on ours? Im going to order a quick connect fuel line fitting instead of the whole fuel line I think.

i kept the filter on mine and made it work. i dont see why you need the filter with the smart valves in the tank though

Are you guys dealing with an actual bog or more of a hesitation? Have my first ctech and have only taken it for a quick buzz around the yard but noticed when on and off the throttle it occasionally takes it a second to get going. No bog/burble or anything like that but just like a slow response.

No bog at all. Just hesitation during on/off throttle like you said. My experience is on a 17 600. I don't notice it as much off trail, but on trail I notice it more. Overall, I am impressed by the 600, but would like to hear if this is fixed on the 18 600 and 800s.

We have 16 m6000 that had the same issue. Dealer tried different things but in the end they sent the ecu to Arctic Cat race department and they reflashed ecu now it runs great all under warranty.Sled seems to have mid range power now.
