Is the contour a all wireless camera? Is the memory storage on a miro card?

yes it is....and if you have an Iphone or android you can get an APP that allows you to view what the camera is seeing on your phone screen and also change camera settings like 480p or 720p and some other stuff too i believe.

I believe you must have the GPS 1080p version to have the APP on your phone that would allow you to see what your camera is viewing.
But, yes the contour camera is a fully self contained camera. Their is a micro SD card in it(I have a 16GB) can go up to a 32GB. I have 2 batteries for mine and switch out the battery half way through the day. The 16GB card will last all day.

With the 16 GB card lasting all day, how many hours roughly are you filing and on what quality?

I usually don't use the 1080p setting since it takes up the most battery time. But I will use the 960(30fps) or the 720(60fps). I turn keep my camera on most of the, just turn the record button on and off alot. I would say 4+ hours of record time on those lower settings.

I can't figure out the helmet mount do I have to purchase another slide mount or what. I just got it and was trying to figure it out before I head out.
what editing softwhare are you using ? just got mine the factory stuff kinda sucks

Sony vages pro, have not used it yet with the contour. Only with the POV, and the LIC goggles. But a good price and works good for the back yard moive maker, fairly high quality.
