new rebuild on 05 900 new update crank and pistons ,had one piston skirt go took out cylinder and crank, got new motor put in every thing connected and rechecked, primed fuel pump tried to start fired but no start just fired, rechecked connections, ok tried starting again just fired and quite, if tried to start again would not do anything let site for 15-20 min. would just fire no start

any help would be great

all updates have been done, new filter primed pump for 30 sec.
thanks for all the help, got it running now but it wont idle properly at 2500 rpm it runs fine but when it gets to about 1900 it dies, then to start it I have to hold throttle open half throttle , then it starts thanks for the help, great site

did you check to make sure your coils are hooked up right? Double check all wiring connections.

On another note. Make sure you follow Polaris recommendations and have added 1 pt of oil to every 5 gallons you have in your tank so you don't blow up the new engine.

Also, you did put in a new fuel filter right? and your tank floats are the updated ones?

How long did you prime the fuel system for?
Sometimes there can be lots of air to move out of the lines.
