does anyone know what the wear tolerances are on a 2011 m8 primary clutch, sheave bushing, cover bushing and spider buttons? seems kinda sloppy. bought the sled used with 2k miles on it. also were do the cracks appear on the spider everyone talks about?

I too am curious about this!! Mine only has 1100 miles and seems sloppy

Not kidding , drive it till it fails. These clutches are not rebuildable. Or worth the effort

My 2010 clutch exploded at 1200 miles. I could feel the play and wish I would have replaced it before it failed.

With 2000 plus miles, she is due for a rebuild. The moveable sheave bushings get sloppy and the rollers are due for replacement I am sure. Keep hearing that they are not rebuildable........but we do them almost every day and have access to every part on that clutch.

Fella's...also get a 911 cover from Racin Station for your existing or rebuilt clutch...huge improvement..

The abc adjuster comes with the 911 I believe and is great for smoothing out engagement.
