Well done on the videos! They'll help alot of DIY type people to see what can be done with the right mindset.

FWIW, I may have missed it in the videos but have you confirmed what the carbs have in them for main & pilot jets? We have an Indy Lite that had relatively poor bottom end performance that has responded well to a drop in pilot jets (35 to 30) & main jets(145 to 120). IMO, The jetting charts on those machines are ultra conservative. However you still need to use your head when making changes - I.E. read the spark plugs.

Confirming ignition timing would be a good idea as well. Speaking with a very knowledgeable forum member there's likely room to run more advanced timing on these engines as they run a very loose head / squish .125" +! Once again, you need to be careful and watch the plugs when making changes.

Lastly, confirm clutching set up / condition. If the primary spring is weak / too light or the weights are way too heavy it could be placing too much load on the engine at starting ratios. An improperly tensioned secondary spring could also have the same affect.

Just a few things to consider.

Good luck!
