Is this a problem? Do the make a cover or a half cover to keep it out of the bottom. I'm not sure if it is a problem I just noticed it the other day on my 2017 rmk

It can be a problem if you tend to kick/pack snow into the foot wells. Some guys install foot well block off plates for this reason. There easy to make out of black sheet plastic, or I think Mike Taylor on here offers them for the axys now. They use to be a must have on the old Pros.

only seems to be a problem when it melts and then freezes again. even then it only takes a little warm up and throttle to fix the problem for my sled. i do knock it out after i put the sled away since i'm in an unheated space.

It's fine all day crushing pow. . But if sitting outside over night I pop side panel off. . Bang from underneath and it all busts loose. grab it all out quick every morning and good to go.
