Need HELP with old 500 liquid

wana see if some can help me with this one i picked up an older indy 500 liquid cooled twin the old piston port fuji motor cleaned everything up and what not but won't run woth a s%@t, its got no power at all every once and awhile it will scream like it should then just bog the whole time if anyone can help that would be great thanks

Carbs?

Check your needles they may look clean but could be shot also check your cdi box could be shorting out or even have moisture in it anther thing to check but it would be hard starting is your plug caps they could be cracked.Just a thought but did you drain the old gas?

Clutching

In addition to what Watts said, check out your primary clutch spring. If it's sacked out or broken your sled will bog and otherwise run like it has fuel delivery issues. Good luck...jmho
