Just picked up a 2011 M8 and was riding when I noticed that the vent in the top of the AMP billet cap is snapped off and pours fuel out when you tip it over. Doesn't leak when riding.
My questions is does anyone have a factory cap they want to part with for the weekend until I can get one here to Redmond.
OR.
Does anyone know if the factory cap is vented or not?
I was able to save the ride by placing a small bolt in the hole where the vent broke off. No riding issues but suspect that if this is not vented during the summer it will cause excess pressure. Anyone have thoughts or a gas cap I can borrow/buy for the weekend
