Has anyone used their y-pipe on a 09 M1000? Why do they not need a fuel controller?

you dont need a fuel controller for anybodys Y pipe, you need the fuel controller when you put on a Pipe.

I thought speedwerks said you had to use a fuel controller with their y-pipe?

Dont do it if you ride mountains! I tried their y-pipe on my m7 and the hooks were made of too small guage wire and broke of after a single ride. They did have good customer service and sent me another but the same thing happened on the second pipe. Hopefully they fixed that problem it was a nice y-pipe other than that fit and welds were all good.

Not a 1000 but I put a d&D pipe on my 09 m8 and I didnt really notice to much of a power diffrence. But it sure did make it louder. And no fuel controller needed on my sled.

I have one on my 2008 M8 with no problem. I can't say I notice a difference but there might be. I did the BDX gears and that was much more noticable.
