Well, getting the newest chassis put together and thought i would put up some info. Skidooin_it and i have out done ourselves this year and have come up with a rock solid chassis design.

Chromoly Tube chassis with a carbon/kevlar in-lay for the tunnel.
We use our own custom a arm design and geometry
lots of parts used form last years sled
  • 2012 Timbersled skid
  • CMX U Cooler
  • CMX belt drive
  • 2008 CFI 4 polaris motor
  • Turbo
  • Polaris Gripper skis

rev drive system
162x16x2.3 on an RT skid.
Air 2.0's in the front

Cant wait for snow, they are like rock solid paperweights.

Thanks guys. The last peice of the puzzle is pannels so if anyone has any briliant ideas, do share!!
Weve got some ideas but doesnt hurt to bring in some fresh input

and X2 on panel ideas... with the ability to mold your own stuff theres so many options its scary!

Aluminum airframes. Skined in Carbon fiber. Or that stuff that they skin homebuilt airplane wings in. I think it is a mylar or something like that.

Nice looking frames. Are you going to tie in the steering hoop to the rear of the sled in any way? More of a "pyramidal" design I guess. It would probably add a ton of strength for a small weight penalty.
