I'm in the middle of my summer work.
Started out with a 153" Green Sno Pro 800.

Have cut down rear cooler. New peak track and Avid drivers are on it's way overseas atm.
Powder coated black, and Kawasaki Pearl orange with clear coat. Color is super nice out in the sun. Still on the fence what to do with the engine, but sure there will be mods coming. Waiting final result and pricing for the Jaws singel pipe.
A few pics...

The tunnel looks like it belongs on a show sled and is too nice to use. Good work, fly over and do mine!

A sled never becomes to nice to use when building yourself.
I would love to come visit. If I just had to apply some paint to a chassie, I would have booked a flight tomorrow:)
Will get over there in the future, with sledding as purpose. Thats' a dream that will come true...

VERRY VERRY Nice I would think that a black motor with some polished aluminum accent pieces would look incredible. I think if you dont add another accent color like polished or brushed aluminum it will be a little too much black and orange. Something like aluminum will make the contrast between the orange really pop. Just my opinion and if i add $4 i usually can get a pretty mean cup of coffee in Reno. Just keep it clean and simple and you cant loose. Cant wait to see the finished sled.

Incredible job so far Dude:hail:

Thank you guys.

Rest of the sled is still laying around in the garage. Had to get the cooler repainted since there was something strange with the color. Still waiting for the cooler. Can't do any more assembly before the cooler are in.
Also waiting for new driveshaft and brakedisk from BDX. Otherwise, I have most of it ready to go in. Will need a new seat aswell since the one who was on the sled is black/green/white.

Had the hood painted in the same colour today, but it did turn out brighter then the powder coated parts. This orange colour in normal paint, is a pearleffect colour. So the brightness of the result depends of how many layers with pearl is used. Seemed like we did to many layers. Considering doing the hood black, since the orange paint is expensive as h****.

Slow progress here. Parts are showing up from day to day. Still waiting for some of it.
But D&D 901 big bore kit is now inhouse. Will finish the engine next week, and contuine on the frame.
Still missing driveshaft and brakedisc.
Raptor rear shock is in the mail atm.

She is coming together slowly now. Finally my BDX stuff are shipped, so in a couple of weeks I should be able tho get that peak track in there, and get her down on the garage floor.
Engine want go in before shes on the floor.
Also ordered a set of raptors for the front. Really looking forward to play with the new shocks.
Engine is ready with it's 901cc kit installed. Eager to get into the chassie.
Going to do my own version of the BDX hood.
Waiting for the new powercommander with ignition module, but that will not be released before mid desember. Have to get her running on a old PCV before then. Autotune is in.
New helix is on order. P85 conversion with MDS setup. Meens alot of stuff to be tuned in at once.
Thinking of taking the secondery and check if sheaves are straight. If not, I will cut them.
Also on white rads TTCF. If my clutch temps don't get freezing cold of this, I don't have a clue what should do it.
Bummer it is snowing already. Not normal for this time of the year down at sealevel. But already have enough to spin around on the fields.
That's typical me when my sled is in bit's and pieces.

Some pictures.

Finally got some time to wrench on my sled again.

Done a few things this weekend.
Installed avid drivers on my BDX shaft. Bummer to see that my new BDX shaft with avid drivers are the same wheight as the stock shaft with stock drivers. Meens avid drivers are heavier then stock drivers. Alteast my new BDX brakedisk saved my night coming in 0.5 kilo lighter then stock one.

Doing my own version of the BDX hood. Not finished fit it yet.

Installed avid drivers after center measurment of the stock drivers. But did not think of the avid drivers to be thicker then the stock drivers.
As you see of the picture, it is a tight fit. There is 19,5cm between track windows, and I have 19,7cm between the drivers.
Makes me wonder if I should take the shaft out again and refit the drivers with 20cm between drivers to have 5mm clearance.
Anyone have any thougths about this?

Raptors are not here yet, so I had to make some custom stuff to get sled down on the floor. Floor wipers can be so usefull sometimes.

Think I will make it a startup tomorrow if everything goes as planned.
Got a block off plate from reapermotorsports. Plate did fit as hand in a glowe.
Have welded in 2 hose connections for my own version of the BDX hood and powdercoated the plate today.
Not much more viewable progress.

Looks good! I can't wait to see it finished. I was a huge fan of the brown M-series. Nice work.

Thanks.
Myself start itching after getting it out of the garage. If only those raptors would show up soon.
Good to know there is more then only me who likes what I'm doing:)
