600r/ 800 conversion Electrical Help!!

Hey guys im currently building up my 09 iqr am going to be running a 800 monoblock with oil injection off of a 09 800cfi engine what exactly do i got to do to the 600r electrical? some guys are saying i have to change out the cdi is that true any help would be great thanks!

You don't have to change anything. I am running the stock 600 racer cdi, leave all stator, and electrical from 600r there. Although I have heard of some trying to put the 800 cfi stator and reprogam cdi so that you can have reverse. That I am not up on what needs to be done.

same running stock wiring, just turn the timing to G, thats what i run it at sea level
