01' Speedometer calibration?

Heres my deal, I changed driver size on my 01' summit x 800, went from a 2.52" 9 tooth driver to a 3" 7 tooth driver, can I recalibrate my speedo for the driver size change? If not, I'm just going pull it and put in a flowrite. Thanks!

Don't think there is that much difference between the two drivers but I never thought I needed to know my track speed either so I lost the speedo and lost the weight.

Yeah, it is a full 1.5" smaller diameter, I think I'm just going to loose it, so, how do you guys keep track of time, just one of those cheap engine hour meters that goes on around the spark plug wire? I would kind of like to keep track of that. Thanks bigcat.
