Hows the riding in the Twisp/Winthrop area on a average snow year?

It sucks, don't bother going. There's really no high elevation stuff around there, so the season is really short.
Kidding. Hart's Pass is a mecca. Another spot that will be really good this year after the McLeod fire this summer is the Sweetgrass Butte area. Opened up a ton of really nice ground. Also, there should be a lot of newly fire opened stuff up around Buttermilk Butte up the Twisp River from the Crescent fire.

anyone ride around Winthrop this weekend?
Not enough snow yet
I live close by and saw a number of sled decks heading South on 97. I am guessing heading home from a weekend of riding. Might be folks coming down from Revelstoke too.
Probably coming back from revy Hart's only had 15" this weekend.
