07-m6 reverse button question

I have 2 m-6' 07's
i just bought the second one.
i noticed when i got it home, the reverse button was a "outty"
in other words, it sticks out. my other m-6 is like inverted so it is
harder to push (which is a good thing).

wondering if i take it a part, that they might of put a spring in it wrong to push it out, or did earlier models first have a outty vs a inny, or vis versa.

can you tell me what you have on your sleds , either m-6 or m-8

thanks

Since I use reverse quite a bit, I'd rather have an outtie than an innie pushbutton so its easier to operate with gloves. The sensors and computer logic, measuring track speed and engine rpm, won't let one change gears unless the rpms on both are low enough.
