putting HO jugs on a non HO motor?

I have a 02 High Mark 800, non HO. I bought new pistons and need to replace 1 jug. I found a pair of HO jugs off a 04 800. Will the HO jugs work on a non HO motor? Does 02vs04 pose a problem? I would assume that the pistons will work? Will all other things{valves, carbs,reeds,head,ect}work? Any help/info would be great.

Every thing i have looked at points to you can, Other than you will need the ho head... and the pistons are the same HO vs Non HO

I had a friend that had ho jugs and ran a non ho head on his 02 800

You can run a NON-HO head, you will just have lower compression.
