Did you every get a gps yet steelman? I was looking into them as well. Amazon has the 530 for 360 some bucks and free shipping. Just wondering if you got one and if ya like it. Also question to everybody, does it also act as a beacon if your covered in snow?? If others can see you on the trail can they see you if you have been covered.

Not yet, hopping maybe Santa will bring me one. hehehehe

ram mounts are very good, you got avery good deal. i just got a garmin 62st at cabelas for $425, wanted a gps that is birdseye compatable

Have the Ram mount. Bought the handle bar mount and it came with the round surface mount. Going to go with the round surface mount. Does anyone have any pics of how they mounted it with the round surface mount? Does anyone have any pics of how they hard wired it. Would also like to have some instruction too. Will be going on a 2011 Arctic Cat Crossfire 800ho.
