Anything a 2020 alpha (mountain cat) would need added on from stock. Primarily boondocking. Haven't been on a cat since my 2010 m8. Coming of a 2017 Axys. Looking to see if there are some little things that work better for the chassis, or are they pretty setup out of the box. Thanks

run pretty good out of the box. You will need a good front bumper if you ride much in the trees. a can and muff pot and in most cases gas and oil.

Brake lever ( stock one can break easily)
Something to protect the chaincase, they can break very easily if hit.
And better steering bushings, your stock ones will wear out in less than 300 miles.

My 19 is the least modified sled I have ever rode. Mine has a can and a defender intake.

I did the intake because I already had it I don't know that the benefit is that great. The biggest issue is still not addressed which is where the hood meets the air box.

Elevate was just added and still to be determined if needed. Everything else is pretty good put that money towards more days on the snow.

I plan on doing
Running boards,
Silencer,
Bdx intake headlight delete.
Belt drive.
Hoping to lose about 30 lbs off the front of the sled

I think SLP y-pipe and pipe are 10lbs lighter, then the Diamond S ti can is 14lbs lighter.

It was my understanding you needed a fuel controller as well for the pipe that adds $350 to the price. I was thinking about getting the stock pip ceramic coated though

Is there any pipe for the Ctec that doesn't need a fuel controller?

Not 100% sure, but I think that the pipe is ceramic coated Black from the factory. If it's paint, then it's damn good paint as mine still looks new after 900 miles!
