Hopefully it’s a bit more than that, pretty tight lipped at this point, seems like at least 1 of the sleds is in the XF family.

that's the ROIT, a picture of it has been floating around facebook for the last week. also, no new motor.

Yes, very familiar, and it’s “Riot”
Outside of that pic no other details have been released to dealers besides it’s a sled in the XF family.

Haha, my bad on the spelling. A picture is worth a 1000 words, it's simply a replacement for the XF with updated spindles, nothing more or less.

I wouldn't be surprised if we see a monoski snowmobile from cat, maybe not for 2020.

No new motor took to long to develope and haven’t made there money back yet. Small up dates all over the Alpha and maybe better snow check options. And a peak at a dedicated snow bike.

I hope they figure out how to build a rail that don't crack........ 500 miles and I'm seeing the typical cracking by the bump stop screw holes......

It takes several years to build a new engine. But I would think if the currant engine can be bored out with a few modifications and new fuel mapping. Maybe they could do that change in a year or 2. Guess we will see. I dont think they need to upgrade engine yet. But if they do it would definitely keep the momentum going for cat.

They need the new motor which I guarantee they already got. People buy by the numbers. There will be people debating what to get and the 850 will push them to other brands even though you and I both know it is not some ground breaking difference.

They should just bore it to about 820/30 and then call it an 850 for marketing... don’t screw up what they’ve got with the current motor. Maybe shift the hp curve up about 5-10hp.

New models are coming out soon. The sum total of 50 hours engine testing is now complete for Poo and Doo. All is well.

Probably won’t see a bored out version of the current motor the stroke isn’t overly long. Might get a more refined map to try to squeeze a little more out of it.
