M7 y pipe

Are y pipes interchangeable between the 7s 8s and 1ks? I'm most likely swapping my twins out for a speedwerx single but need a y pipe. Any one have one they are looking to get rid of?? Thanks!

M7, M8, and M1000 are all different.

M7 y pipes are prone to crack, so I would recommend a new aftermarket version.

I would go with the Speedwerx y pipe for the application as they are a big part of the flow of a single pipe. I installed the y pipe before the single and it was the biggest part of the pipe gain. Ran it like that for a while till could afford the Speedwerx pipe. Think it was worth like 3-5 HP, just the y pipe. Factory y pipes are crimped down a TON over the Speedwerx y pipe, you want flow.

I've heard aftermarket y pipes are not good at high elevation is this not true? And thanks for all the help!

I have a spare stock y-pipe too if you need one, I scored a bmp y-pipe at haydays for $20
