fox air shock in place of stock shock(opinions needed)

Hi guys I have been running a Monroe airshock in place of the gas shock and torsion springs in the the skid frame. Well she finally let go today so I am thinking of replacing it with a fox float skid shock out of an Arctic cat float suspension. Anybody else done this? what do you guys think will it work?

there a are a few companies such as nextech that make this conversion. the float for the cat may be a different lenth and also valved differently. I would look into the fox megafloat. its a larger volume airshock thats designed for rear suspension use specificaly for converting rear skids to air.

I checked out that kit on Nextech. Looks good but I hope to just find a shock that will fit. I have all the other parts already.
