SnoWest Magazine and the Idaho State Snowmobile Association are bringing three major snowmobile manufacturers, along with a number of aftermarket companies, to town for two days at the Idaho Snowmobile Show, November 19th & 20th in Boise, ID, at EXPO idaho.

Snowmobilers will find everything they need for snowmobiling at one location.

We know what snowmobilers want for Christmas but you won’t be able to find it on Black Friday. Snowmobilers will, however, be able to find the perfect gift at the Idaho Snowmobile Show.

Get your discount coupons online for additional savings at the show visit www.intermountainshow.com.

The show will be filled with some of the elite vendors in the snowmobile community. From the major sled manufacturers (Ski-Doo, Polaris and Arctic Cat), plus some of the latest specialty sleds, to the best of the aftermarket companies with the latest in high performance products to fantastic resorts and lodging from various destinations around the West to the SnoWest Magazine Project Sled build, to how-to-seminars from how to ride, what to wear and how to be safe while snowmobiling, there is plenty to see, do and participate in over the two days.

Come down Friday night and enjoy a tailgate party with the MotorFist crew. They will be hosting free food, contests and prize giveaways all while being able to watch Boise State University football do its thing on big screen TVs. There will be prizes for the craziest BSU fan, new snowmobilers, old snowmobilers—you name it, there will be prizes for it.

The giveaways will continue ALL weekend with Klim giving $800 in merchandise away over the weekend along with many other exhibitors who have put together great door prizes to give back to the attendees.

Boise-based Western Power Sports is once again sponsoring the WPS/Ultimax Most Magnificant Mod Show this year. More than $2,500 in prizes will be awarded. For more details on how you can participate check out http://www.intermountainshow.com/.

The annual SWAP meet is on hand for Saturday as well as a Used Sled Corral on Friday and Saturday. For more information visit: www.intermountainshow.com.

Get your advance tickets online and save $1.50 a ticket. Advance tickets can be purchased at http://www.intermountainshow.com/ or purchase here.

Make it a weekend and book your stay at the Doubletree Inn-Riverside. Stay for $79 a night and get a Hot Breakfest Buffet FREE. Ask for the snowmobile rate when booking. Call 208-343-1871.

Start the winter out at the Idaho Snowmobile Show. See you there.

Seemed to be one of the best crowds (SATURDAY) in recent history for Boise! A little foul weather and changing the date closer to the season was magical. I wonder who on earth was so smart to have suggested it moved to November? THAT GUY MUST BE AN ABSOLUTE GENIUS! :face-icon-small-winHey now lets make it on an away game SATURDAY ONLY ONE DAY SHOW LIKE SPOKANE. Actually a Saturday only on a FRI home game weekend with bad weather should just about do it!

Lane...Steve....Robin..Dean.... don't make me call you to say I TOLD YOU SO!

Thanks Snowest people for an awesome show and all of your hard work. Please seriously pay attention and make this a one day Saturday only show.

The show is PACKED TODAY!

Uhhh.... not really. There was a decent crowd during the middle of the day, but I wouldn't use the word packed.

Seemed to be one of the best crowds (SATURDAY) in recent history for Boise! --------- Please seriously pay attention and make this a one day Saturday only show.

Truth be told, it was better than I expected. But those that know me understand I had the bar set pretty low.

I worked there as a vendor, first time, not sure we'll return. Had a great time talking to folks who I've known for a little while and for years. Had an eye opening experience talking to vendors who have been attending this show for years. Rob nailed what I heard from just about everyone of them. Lot of grumbling going on...alot of it centers around being asked questions but ignoring the answers. Sounds familiar to me.

On a second note, the show is so small, there is no way one couldn't concentrate on meeting the vendors and do so, within just a couple of hours. The return on investment if one was inclined to listen and learn, would be immeasurable. I bring this up, because I never saw you Christopher. Nor did the other booths/vendors that I interacted with. Let's just say it was more than a few. As a business, promotion is everything. Meeting, listening, engaging, and in your position, some damage control, should probably have been at the top of the list.

My comment isn't about you being there; everyone knew you were. But not seeking out and promoting; I guess I just don't get it. 7% of '50,000' = 46,500 that don't get it either.

I've mixed show comments and forum comments together. Should they be? I don't know, but you were there representing the forums and they are the majority of what folks (vendors) talked about.

For you all that don't agree, flame on gently. Lord knows I'm sensitive and care a great deal what you think.:face-icon-small-dis:face-icon-small-dis :pound:

PS Where the fug was my Shponshure?

Boise is a challenge for vendors because it is historically NOT a "sale" type show like you see at Puyallup or for us Denver. It's more of a car show type atmosphere as opposed to a market place. The huge difference is the swap meet. A GREAT swap meet means lots of cash as sellers turn their old stuff into new. The other issue is that we have AWESOME sled shops in this community and the people support their dealers rather then spending their aftermarket budgets at the shows. (certainly things must have been better because they ran out BEER!)

Anyway..we did great at Boise this year and I was very pleased with the change of date. That alone increased the impact. THIS SHOW IS ON OUR CHOPPING BLOCK OF SHOWS BUT WE GAVE IT ONE MORE SHOT. I"m satified and I think we will continue to suppport this show. Snowest did some really good things that made this show worth the cost of admission for the consumer.

NOW: Lower the cost to long term commited vendors who COMMIT AND PAY EARLY...make it a one day Saturday show...figure out how to increase the swap aspect...pray for snow and good economic times! done
