I'm buying a nyrto with MPI super on it. Only going with stage one. Just wondering what you guys think about them.

I bought mine from anchorage yamaha and they have one set up just like it at the shop, very clean. What stage r u going to run?

cool, any type of power adder is good,..but be careful i heard that mpi might be going under (bankrupt). As it is the customer serve sucks.....really bad at mpi

What is your source for this? For those that have a SC this would be very unfortunate. Hopefully an internet runor.

THe dealer in fort saskaton by edmonton is not ordering any superchargers this year because he is afraid of mpi going onder he said that sales where slow last year and that the company was suffering and he thinks that with the canadain dollour this winter that sells will be even worse. The yamaha dealer in fort sask is one of the biggest dealers for mpi in alberta in his opion they are going to be in trouble this year

What about the customer service????? I'll be honest, haven't heard many good things about that. A great product is nothing unless you have the service to back it up.

In the past we have had some issues with customer service mostly because we are so busy and it is so hard to find quality staff. I am the manager and have been working directly for MPI for about 8 months. If anyone has and questions or concerns or even complaints i would to hear them so i can get them resolved.

No mpi is not going under. We are currently busy. Yes our customer service in the past has been below our standards. We now have more service guys here at mpi to help you out with whatever you need. Folks should all realize , talks cheap. Sucks to be one of the past "important customers" when the unfortunate service glitchs were taking place.
Unless you're REALLY capable with boost and tuning yourself, i"d consider going with a turbo, cause not many SC'ers worked very well, or certainly not very consistently. I'd certainly not do another one, I don't care how many posts the new employees make.

The cust service issue has been going on for a few years. I remember on the old forum some MPI employees getting on stating those issues were fixed. I really hope they are this time. I'm getting bored of all the turbo threads

I'm running a stage 2 at 17lbs and I love it!!!! On my Nytro. For my riding style the s/c works awesome for me. Any time I've called MPI or Darren at E&S in the Fort I've always had great service. I personally never heard anything about them going under from Darren, in fact He just got me all the parts needed to run the 17 lbs i'm running. Nothing but good to say about MPI superchargers!!!!!!!!! Easy install, amazing power, great instructions for do it yourselfer's like me. I will do another again in the future for sure.
